Doll parts, folklore & mythology…a crossbreeding of the unexpected. A departure from the familiar, both hypnotic and genuinely disturbing, they escape from tales that left profound impressions in my earliest childhood memories. These are all dollies that have been loved & left.

A rogue taxidermy of sorts; they tease the viewer about the nature of identity & aliveness & remind us how glorious it is to be daring.

“A doll who was loved

and then left alone

is sad,

but we’ve all shared that pain.

Transformed by the shame,

she’ll choose love once again…

and will finally find her home.”
