Once the body is inhabited & one identifies with the personality, we forget the essence of our true nature.

Unknowingly we hold the key, & a lifetime is spent in the pursuit of remembering that forgotten thing.

The accompanying booklet reads:

"We spend most of our years often in tears
asking questions like  “Why are we here?"
We live out our days in a dim, blurry haze
of a dream that we want to hold dear.

In this glimpse of the truth we are given the proof
that the key to the dream is right here.
Abandon distraction,
reject cultured reaction,
and in the end it will all be made clear."

This doll was originally part of the Thornbirz series.

Based on a mythical creature, the Thornbird lives its life in fierce pursuit of a thorntree. It leaves its nest & does not rest until it has fulfilled its quest.

Silent its entire life until the final hour when it finds the perfect thorn then impales itself. The very first song it sings comes flowing from its heart before dying among the thorns.
