The More You Know, The Less You Have to Say

a poem by Stefanie Vega

When you are young and on fire,
your greatest desire
is to tell all who'll listen your plan.

This may go on for years
as you sort through your fears
and glean insight from troubles at hand.

Then one day
you will see
it is not necessary
to reveal all your wisdom so far...
and that
words only express
half
what actions address,
and it's deeds
that define who you are.
